Can I protect my phone if I don't have it yet?

We do not recommend protecting your phone before you have received it. Your billing period starts the day you buy the protection plan, so it doesn't make sense to start the plan if you don't have the device. Remember to buy the plan within 30 days of buying your device an upload a valid receipt during activation, to waive the 90 day waiting period when you buy a brand new phone.

If my phone gets replaced, does my protection plan come to an end?

Yes, having your phone replaced ends the protection plan on your device. You can purchase a new protection for the new device.

Can I buy a protection plan on a used/refurbished Google Pixel?

Yes! Starting March 24, 2023 you can buy a protection plan for your used or refurbished Smartphone as long as your device has no damage, comes with at least a 30-day seller or manufacturer warranty, and its original MSRP before tax and discounts was at or below $1799.99.

Do you cover my model of Google Pixel? Can I buy coverage for my Pixel 4a?

We're able to cover most models of Google Pixel Smartphones as long as it is in good working condition with no physical damage at this time. We're not able to protect the model if the original price before tax and discounts was more than $1,799.99. Upsie is not able to protect international models, or devices purchased outside of the United States.

Does Upsie offer coverage for foldable Phones?

Can I cancel my protection plan and receive a refund?

Yes, you can cancel your protection plan at any time. For all plans purchased after March 24, 2023, if you cancel your plan within 90 days of purchase, you will receive a full refund (if there are no approved claims.) If you cancel your plan after 90 days, your coverage will conclude at the end of the current billing period and there will be no refund.

If there isn't one conveniently located to you, the representative will provide you with a prepaid shipping label to send your item to a repair facility. Please keep in mind that you may be responsible for some or all of the shipping, packaging, and insurance costs. It's important to protect your item with bubble wrap or other materials to ensure it arrives safely, as we are not responsible if additional damage or something happens to it during shipping. Once fixed, the repair center will send your fixed product back to you.

My smartphone is leased. Can I still buy a protection plan?

Yes, we are able to cover smartphones that are not paid in full (meaning you are paying your carrier monthly via a lease agreement). If your phone breaks and is fixable, we will fix it. If your phone needs to be replaced, you may need to first get permission from your carrier to get a replacement.

For your Smartphone to qualify for our plans it needs to be in good working condition with no physical damage at this time. We're not able to protect the model if the original full price, before tax and discounts, was more than $1,799.99. Upsie is not able to protect international models, or devices purchased outside of the United States.
